Choate Jr., 11, was killed Wed nesday when struck on the head with a piece of concrete that had fallen from a beam in a public park, officers said. The boy. who received com pound skull fractures, was pro nounced dead on arrival st s lo cal hospital. Police said the boy had ap parently been on top of the long beam, supported by tall pillars, which served as an arbor like entrance at Cannon Hill Park. Young Choate evidently jumped to the ground and a long, loosened section of th concrete beam fell and struck him. Police and park officials are still investigating. Wifer 75, Rescues Mate From Blaze THE DALLES, Sept. 27 l-F. G. Miller, 75, trapped in his burn ing (arm house just after noon to day, was rescued by nTsTflfe, slso 75, who rsn through the flames to get him. A niece, Mrs. Dora Gallagher who was there at the time said Mrs. Miller undoubtedly saved her husband's life. She suffered non-serious burns in doing it. Her husband was burned more se riously on the hands and face. The house was destroyed. Diana Dors To End Stay In Hollywood LONDON, Sept. 17 Ui-Diana Dors, bosomy blonde actress whose four-month Hollywood ca reer has spanned two pictures and one dunking in her own swimming pool, is returning to Britain. The reason, says her husband Dennis Hamilton: she is "so ter ribly homesick." "I wsnted to stay out In Holly wood, she didn't," Hamilton said on his arrival from New York. "We had a heck of an argument and Diana won." Miss Dors and her husband splsshed into the headlines Aug. 20 when they were pushed into a swimming pool during a party at their luxurious Hollywood home. Disns was quoted in July as saying she and her husband planned to become permanent res idents of Hollywood but Hamilton said he and Miss Dors will form their own film company in London and she will return here in Novem ber after completing her second picture in Hollywood.
