The program started with a processional by the graduate. In vocation was givea by Rev. Clyde J&. Woods, of First Baptist Church in Stayton. and singing of "Amer tea" by the congregation. Follow ing this. Salutation addresses were delivered by Donald Page and Martha Hatch. Laura Lee Cavette played a piano solo, and a song "The Per iapt Da" wu ninf bv the eishth grade girls. Valedictory Honors were shared by Bobby Ruby and Lloyd Ralphs. Subsequent to the valedictory speeches the girls of the seventh grade sang the "Oregon State Song." ' The presentation of the class was delivered by principal Mrs. Grace Roach, Mr. Edwin Ruby, chairman of the board presented the diplo mas alter which Rev. Clyde B. Wood gave the benediction. The event will be in the gym nasium at 8 p.m. Co-op to Hear Of Soviet Trip SILVERTON - J. M. Kleinsoer, Nampa, Idaho, farmer who has talked to many Willamette Valley groups about his visit a year ago to Soviet Russia, will be guest speaker Saturday at the annual meeting of the Valley Farmers co-op meeting to be held at American Legion Hall. Kleiner is scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. The business meeting will get underway at 10:30 a m. Saturday with luncheon served at noon by the Home Economics group of the Silverton Grange. This is the first time that the cooperative has had its annual meeting in June instead of March. The daje was changed by revision of the by laws at the last annual meeting. The auditor's report and election of directors will be held during the morning session. Bye home on the Pudding River. Nisperos is one o- 16 young people who will visit here this summer under the International Youth Exchange. His home is at Bayrio Cabaroam, San Fernando, La Union, Philippine Islands. He is one of seven children, five boys and two girls. He is said to speak English fluently. His home is a rice farm 'although corn, sugar and fruit areu'also grown. A Scandinavian lad will arrive shortly to spend the next school year at Silverton, living in the home of Alvin Legard. The Le gards are cooperating with the Silverton Rotary club which is sponsoring this project through the American Field Service. Walker, long time resident who died Saturday, will take place at the Weddle Funeral Home chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. Mrs. Walker was born April 27, 1875. at Ontario, Canada. Her husband, the late John J. Walk er, died last August. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ida Steel of Albany and Mrs. Ada Medin of Sacramento, Calif. The Rev.
