SWEET CHERRY MEDLEY
1 pound can dark sweet
cherries
1 IVi oz. can pineapple cubes
1 ripe banana
Vi cup grenadine syrup or fruit
juice
Drain and pit cherries. Drain
"pineapple cubes." Peel and slice
banana, dip into pineapple juice.
Arrange fruit in sherbet or fruit
glasses. Pour grenadine or juice
over fruit. Chill before serving.
Makes 4-5 servinas.

condensed milk

. 2 eggs, separated
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Place sweetened condensed milk
and chocolate in top o( double boil
er. Cook over hot water, stirring
frequently until thickened, about
10 minutes. Add water; stir until
smooth. Cook until slightly thick
ened. 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from
heat. Stir a little of the hot mix-
lure into sfighlly beaten egg yolks;'
blend with remaining hot mixture.
Cool until consistency of a thick
syrup. Beat egg whites until
foamy; sprinkle sugar over sur-',
face. Beat until stiff but not dry.
Add vanlllar Fold chocolate mix- I
ture into egg whites. Pour into in
dividual serving dishes. Chill un
til set, about 2 hours.
