The Benders formerly resided In Hubbard. The Rv. C. I. Kropf and the Rev. Verl Nofsinger performed the rites. The bride wore i floor length gown of brocaded aatin. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from satin band trimmed with lilies of the valley. Her cascade bou q;iet was of red roses, bouvardia and tiny white chrysanthemums. Miss Doris Roth of Molalla was maid of honor and Mia Verdella Fahndrieh of Albany, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. They wore identically - styled ?owns of light green moire taf eta made of ballerina length and carried fan shaped bouqueta of yellow chrysanthemums and os trich plumes. " Kathy Bender of Hebo was flower girl for her aunt The eandlelightera, Dorothy Brubaker of Sweet Home and Thelma Bitikofer of Salem, wore yellow .noire taffeta gowns. Attend the Bridegroom . George Sleekly of Albany was best man, Maurice Bender of Sa lem was groomsman, and ushers included Alfred Burkey of Tigard and Lester Burkey of Shedd, cousins of the bridegroom, and Clayton and Harold Bender of Hebo, brothers of the bride. Mrs. Bender chose a two-piece gray dresa and the bridegroom's mother wore a two-piece navy blue dresa. Both mothers pinned oa corsages of pink rosebuds. A reception In Kropfs ball at Yoder followed the ceremony. Mrs. Clayton Bender cut the dec orated cake. Mrs. Harold Bender poured the coffee and Mrs. Mau rice Bender was at the punch bowl.
