ALBUQUERQUE (JP)-A 23- year-old Albuquerque : girl, who earned a living for two years ' trailing and checking on people, now is setting up her own busi - ness as "a private eye." They're actually surprised when they learn the truth. -; -. - Often Disappointed "Sometimes, I think they're dis appointed." Marian specializes in domestic investigation. t The cases she's handled range from check- - ing on marital infidelity to black maO. . : r : "My job is to prove or disprove " ithe allegations made by my . client," she said. "Most of my cli ents are women, which makes in ;.' vestigation a. good field for a wo man. A man is more likely to solve his own problems where a woman will seek help. I si "Often I just go and talk with the other person involved and check his character. Many times my job involves trailing people. Incidentally, whenever I'm trail-- ing someone or I'm on a stakeout, r I. always notify, the police so they'll know what I'm doing. The average case takes two to- three weeks." - V . Looking for Wtmai ;i Marion went to work for the - Acme Detective Agency when she - ' learned it was looking for a woman Interested in that type of work. "I was real excited because I guess it's not something the aver age woman would do," Although her first case was an Interview, and she turned the in formation over to another operator. her own. At first she received a commission and then $50 a week. Soon she was getting periodic raises. . Domestic Cases : "But lately I wanted to go on my .own," she said.
