Housewives will be busy preparing for Thanksgiving and welcoming out-of-town relatives and the college contingent home from the Oregon schools for the holiday weekend. . . A Thanksgiving week bride will be Miss Judith Foreman, who will be married Friday night to Fred Harvey Koepf of Bilrlingame, - Califs at an 8 o'clock ceremony at the Ben Lomand Drive home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Foreman. Luncheon to Fete Miss Foreman v - I Monday afternoon, Mrs. William H. Hammond and Mrs. Garlen L Simpson will be hostesses for a 1 o'clock buffet luncheon in honor of Miss Foreman. The affair, will be held at the Simpson home cn. East Nob Hill and a kitchen shower will fete the future Mrs. Koepf. Guests will also bring their favorite recipes for the bride-to-be. " ' ' . The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Lane Sudtell end the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dean Schackman, all of Salem. , It was at 2 o'clock that Father John Reedy officiated at the nuptials before a setting of bronze and gold chrysanthemums. Wayne Meusey was the organist For her wedding the bride selected an imported French, lace gown over satin fashioned with a full, flaring skirt ending in a chapel train. The bodice was made with a V neckline and short sleeves finished with a bow. She wore matching lace mitts and her short illusion veil was caught to a. headdress adorned with seed pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of white spider chrys anthemums centered with a white orchid. Walk Before the Bride Miss Shirley Sudtell was the' maid of honor and Miss Barbara Jackson and Miss Dee Evans were the bridesmaids. They wore bal lerina frocks of embroidered tur quoise crystalette and headbands of turquoise crystalette leaves. Their bouquets were of bronze and gold chrysanthemums. Don Weathers stood with Mr. Schackman as best man and the ushers were Vance Yung of Port land, Carl Weathers, and David Sudtell of Portland, cousin of the bride. Mrs. Sudtell chose a midnight blue lace gown with blue and white accessories for her daugh ter s wedding. Her flowers were gold orchids. ' Mrs. Schackman wore a dusty pink lace gown over shell gray with pink and gray accessories. She wore a corsage Of -dusty pink orchids. ' - Reception at Legion Club The- newly weds greeted their guests at a reception at the American Legion Club. Presid ing at the bride's table were Mrs. C. Simpson of Lebanon, Mrs. A. Sudtell of Portland and Mrs: L. Peterson of Donald. Assisting was Miss Diane SudteU and Steve Simpson, cousin of the bride, passed the guest book.
