Another, girl, gaining" honors this weekjs Sally Jo Greig, who was chosen one of the five finalists for Homecoming Queen. : " - The four pledge skits judged the best of "the 15 sororities' entering the contest 'performed'- at I last week's Friday at Four program in , the Student Union. Mens living or- i ganizations bid for the pledge classes and all proceeds went to the scholarship fund. Jean Lidbeck and Nancy Sue Payne -were in the skit from Pi Beta- Phi, Sandra Jochimson . and Kaye Tomlinson took part in the Alpha Phi program and in the Kappa Alpha Theta ikit was Anne HeltzeL , " ' Barbara Bacon and Saudi Pear ton were in the Gamma Phi Beta ( pledge class skit which was . auc tioned to Kappa Sigma fraternity for $63.00. Laurel Social Hour Club Entertained Mrs. William Haskins was "host ess to the Laurel Social Hour Club .Tuesday afternoon. Luncheon was served and presiding at the coffee urn was Mrs. Axel Jacobsen. Guests were Mrs. Joyce Becker and daughter of Portland. - The nominating committee was appointed and includes Mrs. H. J Clements, Mrs. Elmer Emmett and Mrs. W. H. Zimmerman.
