At First Methodist Church Miss Edna Marie Hill became the bride of Eugene Natkin of New York City at a beautiful all white 'wedding Saturday night at historic First Methodist Church. The bride is the only daughter of Mrs. Edward Tolbert i Brock Hill and the lale Mr. Hill and the bridegroom is the son of Hyman Natkin of New York City and the late Mrs. Natkin. .. .. ' It was it I o'clock that Dr. Brooks H. Moore 'performed the 8 o'clock nuptials 1 before, several hundred relatives and friends. The alternate, pews were ir&rked with clusters of the flow ers: tied with white ribbon. Light ing the dozens of! white; -tapers were John Lippold and James Breithaupt, cousins of thei bride Five pretty attendants and 1 flower girl walked before the bride. Mrs. Herbert iSchell of Cra ter Lake was her cousin's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. William F. Johnson of Cor- vallis. Miss Bonnie! Belle Stew art. Miss Barbara Ann Pearcy of Portland and Miss Shirley Hill of Whittier, Calif., .cousin of the bride. They wore identical j baller ina : frocks of white imported French lace fashioned with scal loped sweetheart necklines , and long i torso borices. They carried cascades of white 1 spider pom poms backed with camellia leaves and wore headbands of white vel vet leaves. ; i Rosamond Gunnar was the flow er girl and her dress was of white nylon with lace trim. The Bridal Gewn ! Lon C. Hill f Whittier. ' Calif., escorted his niece down the center aisle and gave her in marraiee. Her bridal gown was 'of imported Chantilly lace and tulle over satin designed with a scalloped, sweet- heart' neckline and long, i lace sleeves. The bouffant skirt, which terminated in a court; train, was embellished with lace applique extending to the end of the train. Her illusion veil was caught to a petal reap of hand-clipped Chan tilly lace outlined in seed pearls. She carried, a cascade of white spider chrysanthemums. Herbert Schell of Crater Lake served as best man for Mr. Natkin- Seating the guests were Don ald Bennett, Paul Baker, Robert Wilkins of La Grande, William F. Johnson of CorvalUs, Gerald Ev anson, Calvin Cooper of Portland and Paul f Lippold, the bride's uncle. For her daughter's nuptials Mrs. Hill selected a gown of gold crys talktte with bronze shoes and white gloves. In her hair she wore a spray of yellow and brown baby orchids. Greet Gaesta at Reception The wedding reception was held in tne cnurcn dining room. Pour ing were Mesdames John Lippold, the bride's - grandmother, Lon C. Hill of Whittier, Calif. Alma Jar vis, the bride's aunt, Edwin P. Armstrong, Ludwig Mickelson, and Miss Augusta Breithaupt, the bride's great-aunt. Cutting, the cake were Miss Marie Lippold, Mesdames Ellis Walker of - Cor vallis, aunts of the bride, George H. Grabenhorst, G. Herbert Smith, A. C. F. Perry and H- K. Stock welL Presiding at the nunch bowl were Mesdames Paul Lippold, the bride's aunt E. F. Breithaimt cousin of the bride, L. Don Hun saker, Atlee Pearcy of Portland, Robert L. Elfstrom and Ivan Stew. art Assisting were Mesdames Robert Wilkins, Gerald Evanson, Paul Heath, the bride's cousin, Louis Lorenz. Jr.. Allan R. Mann . Jr. of Portland, Bruce tonkin. (Jesten-Miller Studio).- and Sandra , Breithaupt, cousin of ue onne- r To Live la New York ; When the counle Ipft on their wedding trip along the Oregon coast the new Mrs. Natkin donned nuimeg Knit suit with winter white trim, a matching mat and avocado hat and accessories. She pinned a corsage of white orchids to her ensemble. . Later I in the month the newly weds will leave for New York City to make their, home, .where the bride will continue her studies at Juilliard and her husband at New York University - School of Den tistry. 1 Miss Minden Isi Bride of Mr. Lulay St Boniface; Catholic Church in Sublimity was the scene of the wedding of Miss Roseanne Minden, daughter' of Mr. . and Mrs. A. M. Minden of Sublimity, and Adrian ,W. Lulay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lulay of Salem, on Saturday morning. Father Robert O'Hara per formed the 10 o'clock nuptial mass before a setting of pink and white gladioluses and blue delphinium. Vocalists were Duane Heuberger and Father Edmund Raum. Mrs. B. J. Min den was the organist For her wedding the bride se lected a gown of tulle and lace over misted taffeta, fashioned with a floor length skirt and a wide border of lace, around the hemline. The long, sleeved bod ice was also of lace. Her finger tip veil was caught to a headdress enhanced with seed pearls and iridescent sequins. She carried a bouquet of pink Elf roses and stephanotis. .. Sister Is Honor Matron Mrs. Paul' Stuckhart was her sister's matron of honor and bridesmaids, were Mrs. Orville Lulay, sister of the bride, Miss Doris Minden, the bride's cousin, and Miss Carole Frank. They, wore ballerina gowns of satin crystallette combined with matching lace. Mrs. Stuckart and Mrs. Lulay wore blue and Miss Minden and Miss Frank were in dusty rose. .Their bouquets were of white gladioluses. GiJbert Lulay stood with his brother as best man and ushers were Melvin Lulay, Glen Minden, Edward Spitz, Paul Stuckart and Orville Lulay. Mrs. Minden selected ' a char coal grey satin gown with pink accessories and Mrs. Lulay chose a green wool' gown with black accessories. Their flowers were pink rosebuds. A reception followed at the Joint Mooting of Circles Slated , The Woman's Society of ChriVv tian Service of the West- Salens Methodist Church has planned a "v joint meeting of the Sunshine , and Susannah Wesley Circles aiT the home of Mrs. Robert Patti son, 291 Kingwood Ave. Thei meeting will held 'at?- 7:30f p.m. September 14 as a Christmas party for the Lavinia V; Wallace Young Home at Nome, -c Alaska. The newlyweds have gone to Canada on their honeymoon and will make their home in Sublim ity.
