Newspaper Page TextWar Vet Gets 8 Years for Collaboration NEW YORK A penitent, 25 year old Koreas War veteran V ednes-ay was sentenced to eight years at hard labor for aiding the enemy wfcue a prisoner i war. Moments before be was en tenced. Cpl. Harold M. Dunn of Eajdwinsville, N.Y.. told the ev-en-nian military court that tried him: "It was a tragic mistake for which I am sorry." ; The court also ordered a disn erable discharge for Dunn, and for feiture, of all pay an allowanc es during his imprisonment. As a ,'corporal, he drew $145 a month, plus $C0 allowance to bis wife. His wife, who is expecting a fcaby in September, broke into tears as the penalty was pro nounced. Dunn hugged her. consol ing her, and then kissed his moth er. Mrs. Ellen A. Dunn of Bald winsville.
