little Sent to Utah Prison LOGAN, Utah Two men who escaped from the Cache Coun ty Jail a week ago made separate appearances before First District Judge Lewis M. Jone,s Monday. ; Gordon S. little. ' 38. of Boise. Idaho, and Rogue River. Ore., was sentenced to a one-to-20-year term for second-degree burglary and a consecutive term of one to 10 years for grand larceny, in Utah State Prison. Harry E. Vickerman, 43. Pitts burgh, was given until next Mon day to enter his plea on a forgery charge. : No escape charges had been filed against either man Monday. Little Is wanted in .Oregon when Utah is done with him. He faces a life sen tence under that state's habitual criminal act. Little had been found guilty last month of the charges against him by a jury. Monday promised the CIO United Steelworkers a wage in crease which will take into con sideration "the cooperation, loyal ty and productivity of workers." Vice President John Stephens, head negotiator for big steel, said the offer will be made .this week at a meeting still to be scheduled. Top union officials have speculat ed the corporation will submit an offer of T-h cents more an hour President David J. McDonald and Secretary Treasurer I. W. Abel said such an offer would be re jected. Stephens declined to discuss the size of the offer but said "we hope it will result in a speedy and mu tual settlement of our negotiations."
