Visitors in the capital are Mrs. Stephen Fouchek and children, Barbara, Kip and Stephen, in front. The Foucheks formerly made their home here and have been in Buenos Aires for the past year, where he was with the American Foreign Insurance Agency. The family returned from South America to the states by plane.' V 'i - ,-: ' - : '!.'v. - r' - I i ;, l rriving in the capital the past week to make her home , was Miss Cfirroll Elizabeth Berry, daughter of Colonel and Mrs. Logan Berry.; Miss Berry arrived from Florida, where she has been attending the University of Florida in Miami. Her engagement to Robert Lee Gibson of Miami was recently anounced in the Florida city- Leaving the past week for a summer. in England and Europe was Miss Helen lane, a member of the South Salem High. School faculty. She will sail from Que bec on June 30 for England," joining the New York University traveling workshop of Europe. They will be at the Univer sity of London for two weeks, then leav ing for Belgium, the University of Hei delberg in Germany, Switzerland and Paris. - A r ii i I - . v f 7 i - r A -- ' - ; Returning to! Salem to make their home after a several years absence are the Richard Sullivans, who have been living in Bend. Mrs. Sul livan is pictured with their sons, Bobby, Casey 'and Duff. They are now at home; on Will street and Mr. Sullivan is opening his own tax accounting business in Salem. 0 v-v. J ' ... f' v S v. .- - - - - - - From Detroit, Mich., have come Mrs. Louis Hocfak and daughter, Kathy, pictured above. With Mr. Hodak, they arrived in May from the East and will make their home in Salem. Mrs. Hodak, the former Honora Reidy, resided in Salem until her marriage. . Mrs. Charles N. Flitton Jr. and son, Charles, at the left, havt been visiting ir the capital the past month from their home ;in Vicksburg, Miss., where Lt. Flitton is stationed with the U. S. tNavy. Mrs. Flitton formerly resided in Salem and has been.visit jmg her mother, Mrs. Brown E. Sisson. After a visit in Lebanon 'and McMinnville this week they will return south June 18. i - - ! - -4 . .
