Hansberry, secretary-manager, said Monday. The 1953 pools and the 1954 fil bert pool are to be paid immedi ately and the 1954 walnut pool will be paid as soon as possible, he added. The annual meeting of the mem bership has been set for May 31 at 8 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 640 Hood St., Salem. Matters to be taken up, reports Hansberry, are election of six di rectors and change in the by laws, as well as a discussion on the 1955 operations. Among the changes in the bylaws is one which will pro Vide that all nine members of the board must own, operate or con trol a commercial nut acreage. Five directors will constitute a quorum. " .. The only two directors who will remain on the board are E. J. Allan and A. L. Page. Directors whose terms expire this year are H. M. Bibby. CLC. Hart, L. C. Mar shal, A. A. Withers, Frank ErWay and H. H. Bosch. Some of the outgoing directors will be candi dates for re-election. Three will be chosen for - two-year terms and three lor three-year terms. Mr. Hansberry, as secretary-manager of the cooperative, automatically aerves as a director. Hansberry was named during the past .year as secretary-manager to take the place of-J. J. Gallag her, who resigned, but remained with the cooperative until Decem ber to assist Hansberry in taking over the management. tatorian. Bakkum, presi dent of the sociology department at Oregon State College, will give the commencement address at the ceremony at the school Other features of the program will in clude a style show and exhibits of work done in the vocational department The public is in vited. The 11 other members of the graduating class are Carta Brown, Tigard; Jerry Ebensteiner, Lake Grove; George Ellis and Earl Lewin, both of Portland; Dollie Gessner, Condon; Roland Holmes, Springfield; Henry Nelson, Dex ter; Frances Owen, Lorane: Nel lie Starkey, Westfir, Joan White, Long Creek, and Robert Sohler, Forest Grove. Born Kathrina Winter at Helena, Mont June 30, 1886, she had been a resident of the Scotts Mills area for 24 years. She was married Nov. 6, 1917 at Nampa', Idaho to Math ias Bielenberg who survives. Mrs. Bielenberg was a member of the Holy Rosary Church at Crooked Finger and a member of the church altar society., Surviving besides the7 widower are children, Joseph and Anthony Bielenberg, , both of Scotts Mills, Francis Bielenberg, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Margaret Spionski, Scotts Mills, and Agnes Bielenberg, Scotts Mills; two brothers, Frank Winter, Scotts Mills, and Conrad Winter, Nampa, Idaho; also, 14 grandchildren. .
