Joe Pend leton, the town handy man is played by Clifford Neufeld. Ber niece Carlton, Ruth's friends, is portrayed by Kathleen Kelly. The matinee for the student body will be given May 4 and the evening performances on May 5 and 6 at 8 p.m. in the Dallas High School gymnasium. Tickets are available at the Dallas Pharmacy and the high school office. sem Silverton Rises SUtesmaa News Service SILVERTON Television, which threatened library circulation a year ago, has not harmed the cir culation count this spring at the Silverton Public Library, library employes said Monday. The report submitted to the city council here Monday night, show ed that circulation at the public library was up in April, 1955, a total of 283 over the 1954 April circulation. . However, the April circulation did drop almost 100. below the March circulation, Miss . Nettie Hatteberg, circulation - librarian, explained that this is the usual rule as spring advances each year. ; ; ,- Total circulation for April this ytar, according to the city reports was 1,174. There were 15 new readers added during the month and 35 books by gift and pur chase.
