Tax Forms '
ified
. WAOTTVfiTfW Pn Walter
Norblad - (R-Ore.) has requested
the Internal Revenue Bu.eau to
overhaul the complicated personal
income tax forms which Norblad
said were "far too complex, for
the -average citizen.
"Although the Bureau proclaims
that the new forms are simplified
and can be done without trouble,
the fact is that they seem more
complex and exasperating than
before, Norblad said.

Most Grains -Close

" CHICAGO USMost grain futures
closed lower on the Board of Trade
Wednesday, although May wheat
put on an independent display of
strength.
Wheat closed 1 H lower to 1 H
higher", corn unchanged , to s
lower, oats - lower, rye ,i
lower to 4 higher, soybeans ? to
2 cents lower and lard 5 cents
lower to 3 cents a hundred pounds
higher.
Demand for May wheat came
primarily from a large local
traderr It was not believed to rep
resent short covering. The buying
presumably was based on the be
lief ' wheat supplies in the free
market will be scarce before the
new crop starts coming to market.
New crop wheat futures firmed
shortly after issuance of the mid-1
day weather forecast, showing no
moisture was expected in the dry
areas of the winter wheat belt.
But these months gave up ground
quickly near the close and finished
only a couple of cents above sea
sonal lows.
