Salea, Ortw I WLOttf SOCIETY CLUBS MUSIC) Around By JERYME Statesman To Attend In keeping with The Statesman's policy of being first with the news, in all departments, arrangements have been made for Mazine Boxen, Woman's Editor, to attend the annual Newspaper Tood Editors Conference October 3 to 8 in New; York. Sponsored by the American Association of Newspaper Representatives at the Waldorf Astoria, food; editors of newspapers are plied with information' about new developments in food products by a se lected group of advertisers. This is the first time a Salem paper has sent a representative j to the Conference. i I Each day begins with a 7:45 o'clock breakfast, followed by a session in which a food; manufacturer explains new things in his field of production. Luncheon is followed by another infor mative session and a reception. Dinner on most nights concludes the long day. Time will be allotted daily for filing stories to the newspapers. She donned an heirloom stole of net embroidered in mauve and her flowers were deep rose begonias. A reception followed in the durch parlors, after which the newyweds left for a honeymoon at Carmetby-the-Sea.
