The First Presbyterian Church was the setting for a lovely wed ding Sunday afternoon when Miss Phyllis Jean ; Scott, daughter of Mrs. Don E. Firth, became the bride of Charles S. Staab, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. C Staab. The Rev. B. J. Holland officiated at the 4 o'clock nuptials. Victor B, Palmason was the solo ist and Mrs. Ralph Dobbs the or ganist. The altar was banked with bouquets of yellow gladioluses and blue delphinium. ' Of imported Chantilly lace over nylon tulle and satin was the brid al gown, fashioned with a court train and fitted bodice wntn but tons down the back, Peter Pan col lar and long sleeves. Her illusion fingertip veil was caught to a crown, of seed pearls. She carried a Bible with marker of white or chid and shower of delphinium and yellow carnations. Mr. Firth gave the bride in marriage. , Mrs. E. T. Porter of Longview was the honor matron and . she wore a blue nylon tulle gown over taffeta with matching shoes. The bridesmaids were Miss Colleen Martinsen of Hubbard, Miss Jul iette Sather of Aurora, and Miss Margaret Babbs of. Eugene, who wore yellow nylon tulle dresses over taffeta with matching Shoes. The attendants all wore floral headbands and carried old fash ioned nosegays of yellow and blue roses, gladioluses and, delphinium. Cheryl Dittman, dressed like the honor matron, was the flower girl. Groom's Attendants Robert C. Scott stood with his brother as best man and ushers were Kenneth Hamilton Jr., David Roake, Ted Roake Jr., and Paul Sundin. The bride's mother chose a dus ty rose crepe gown over taffeta with matching hat and! white ac cessories.. The groom's Another at tended her son's wedding in a blue crepe gown with matching hat and white accessories. Their corsages were yellow roses. . The newlyweds greeted their guests in the social room of the church. Cutting the cake were Mrs. A. C. Baker of-Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Jack" Frohmader and pouring were Mrs. M. F. Dittman of Sherwood and Mrs. Harry Otte. Assisting were Mrs. Jack Brad shaw, Miss Imogene Dittman of Sherwood.
