ANGEL Mt Angel Unit of the American Legion Auxiliary will supply at least 10 judges for the pet parade being sponsored by the Silverton Legion Post on Friday, Aug. 6, as part of the Centen nial celebration- ' . ?i V Past Commander Ronald Reed of the Silverton post requested that Mt Angel auxiliary supply the judges. Those volunteering are Mrs. Ray Ruscher, Mrs. Ida hoi- fer, Mrs. Paul , Fennimore, Mrs. . Fred Lucht, Mrs. Ed Hoffer, Mrs. Maurice Hammer, Mrs. Pete Usel man, Miss Anita Norton, Mrs. Clifford Norton, and Mrs. Ira Herriford. t The unit agreed to join the Legion post in holding one meet ing each month during July, Aug . ust and September oiv the second Tuesday of the month, and it was voted to hold the annual Le gion picnic at Hall's farm on Aug. 1, collaborating with the men on the project Will Give Reports . Girls State delegates will give their reports at the September meeting. Mrs. Norton and Anita were chosen to serve as alternates to the delegates to the state conven tion at Coos Bay July 21-24. ' The unit will join the Legion in making the pilgrimage at Crooked Finger and mil send . colors. Another community project to which Legionnaires will lend their time is the week-long Boy Scout Gamporee at Camp Pioneer. Past Commander . Gene Hoffer, Adju tant Mel Rigdon and Gene Goldsby will take turns in helping super vise the Mt Angel group of scouts who will attend the camp. The post is the troop sponsor.
