has announced the addition of five1
new faculty members
They are:
Dr. Edward Colton Meek. Jr.,
assistant professor in the pathology
department. Dr. Meek, who at
tended Reed and Oregon State Col
lege, received his MD from John
Hopkins school of medicine in 1944.
Dr. Abe Oyamada, instructor in
the pathology department. , Dr.
Oyamada. recently discharged
from the armed forces, is a grad
uate of Reed College and the Uni
versity of Oregon medical school.
Dr. Louis H. Frische, assistant
professor of radiology. He gradu
ated from Harvard medical school
in 1949.
Dr. Benjamin B. Ross, instructor
in physiology, who received his
Ph.D. from the University of
Rochester this year.
Dr. William M. Clark, Jr., in
structor in pediatrics. He received
his MD from the University of
Chicago medical school.
Women Rescued
From High Ledge
PHILADELPHIA (UP) A 30-
year-old woman was rescued from
an eight-inch ledge on the seventn
floor of city hall Thursday after
she threatened to jump to the
street.
Two off-duty policemen and a
priest made the rescue. During the
course of the rescue. Patrolman
George R. Eastburn, 28, had some
unpleasant moments as the woman
had to go behind him on the nar
row ledge to crawl back into the
budding through a window.
