Stock Prices Qose Mixed; Average Down NEW YORK m-The stock mar ket traversed a cautious route o! irregularity Thursday, its second such session following two days of strongly advancing prices. The Associated Press average of 60 stocks lost 10 cents at 3129.30. The industrial component ' fell 40 cents, railroads remained unchanged,- and utilities were up 10 cents at a new high mark of $61.70. - There were 428 gainers and 459 losers ouf of the 1,186 individual issues - traded with 93 new highs and 5 new losses for the year registers. ; - Volume dwindled down to 2,080, 000 shares, the 51st time this year that the two million mark has been crossed. That compares with 2,380,000 shares traded Wednesday when the average remained un changed. .
