The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Currie of Bridger end the groom is the son of the J. V. Crosslers of Mill City. Both are former Willamette University students and the couple will live in Salem. Rainbow Girls to Grand Assembly Chadwick Assembly, Order at Rainbow for Girls held their an nual father-daughter banquet Tues day night at the Masonic Temple, with over 60 attending. Initiation was held for Misses Anna Case. Beverly Wagers and Karen May Johnson. Receiving the majority degree were the Misses Janice Feller. Ro berta Graham, Dorna Martin, Sharon Laverty, Dorothy Swigart, Patricia Payne, and Joyce Young er. A group of Rainbow Girls left Wednesday night for Grand Assem bly at; Baker. . Attending the an nual session are the Misses Kar lene Quistad, Eileen Osko. Mary Lynn Stevens, Patty Johnson, Bet ty Johnson, Margaret Hildreth, SaHy Merrill, Vbndra Anderson end Mrs. Dave Brown. Miss An derson wiH represent the assembly in the grand choir. Rainbow Girls have planned a picnic, for August 24. Phyllis Wolf to Wed Mr. Annen MT. ANGEL Mr. amd Mrs. Emil Wolf are announcing the en gagement of their daughter. Miss Phyllis Irene Wolf, to CpL Norbert A. Annen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Annen of Route 1, Mt. An gel. The bride-elect is a graduate of Mt. Angel Academy and is current ly employed at the Benedictine Press in Mt Angel. Corporal Annen arrived home re cently from Korea, where he served with the 1st Marine Divi sion. At the conclusion of his fur lough, he wHl be stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif. No date has been set for the wedding. the grange and the 25 year mem bers. Charter members of the grange are Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Gil mour, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Krenz, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Krenz, Mr. and Mrs. Bryon McElhaney and Mrs. James Gilliam. Other -25 year members are. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peters and Mr. and Mrs. Verny Scott, the last two couples "having joined the grange in Stayton, later transferring to the Union Bill grange. Musical numbers were accor dion solos by Miss Shirley Doer fler, vocal solos by Gerald Darby accompanied by Miss Jeanne Dar by, instrumental solos by Miss Frances Fox. ' Pouring were Mrs. W. F. Krenz, Mrs. Bryon McElhaney Mrs. J. C. Krenz, and Mrs. Henry Peters. Serving the cake, were Mrs. Ver ny Scott and Mrs. James Gilham. Mrs. A. N. Doerfler was in charge of the guest book. Assisting about the rooms, were Mrs. Robert Lier man, Mrs. Robert Humphreys and Mrs. Donald Jaquet. General committee included Mrs. Robert Darrah, Mrs. W. M. Tate and Mrs. James Gilham. Hosts were Mrs. Myra Fischer and W. M. Tate. Decorations were arranged by Mrs. Roy Verbeck and Mrs. II IGA $NO.KBFEM KS II f-H WBURGV Jean Lee, who will be seen as Laura in "The Glags Menagerie" and Patty in "The Moon is Blue," presented by the Summer Circle at Knights of Columbus Hall tonight and tomorrow night. Miss Lee, a resident of Hawaii, is a student at Whitman College, Walla Walla. The plays, sponsored by the Salem Junior Cham ber of Commerce, will be given arena style. Tickets are on sale at the door. Marion Miller. Corsages for the honored members were made by Mrs. Robert Lierman. Mrs. Don ald Jaquet, Mrs. Eldon Jaquet, Mrs. Robert Darrah and Mrs. James Darby.
