Honored were Mrs. Robert M. Fitz maurice, Mrs. Ben Maxwell and Mrs. Howard Hunsaker. The guest speaker was Earl Ben bow, whose subject was "Having Fun With Roses." The club voted to enter an exhibit at the Rose Society show this weekend. New officers were installed by Mrs. Clifford Taylor, the outgoing pres ident. Mrs. Hunsaker will again serve as president for the coming year. Mrs. Roy Smith has been appoint ed chairman of the club's annual summer Harden tour, the date and j places to be announced later. As- sisting Mrs. Smith will be Mrs. Ed ward Majek. Mrs. Jack Henningsen and Mrs. Gordon Black. Mrs. A. R. Tartar invited the club to a tea and tour of her rose gar den at her home on June 15. The club voted to present a garden book to the Salem Public Library; in memory of deceased members. Mrs. Ethel Brown and Mrs. R. B. Winslow of Silverton arranged the surprise table, which featured Sil verton's centennial this summer. The table was set in antique china, crystal and silver. Day of Medford, which was quietly sol emnized on Thursday, June 10 in Portland. After a wedding dinner at the Aero Club the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip to California. The couple will return to Salem for a short stay the end of the month and after July 1 will be at home at Blue Moon Ranch, Med ford. Women Reelected To Home Board Six Salem women were reelect ed to the board of managers of the Methodist Home, 1625 Center St when the corporation of the Home held its annual meeting in Salem on June 7. Those selected to serve another three year term were Mesdames P. A. Fugate, Robert Fenix, E. O. Welling, Mary Ellis, V. E. Bur son, and C. W. Stacey. The board of managers will elect its officers at a meeting scheduled for the Methodist Home Monday after noon, June 14.
