More than 2,000 persons are expected to attend the hour-long Easter Sunday morning service com mencing at 6:30. The message will be delivered by the Rev. M. E. ANGEL Any boy 11 years old or older who wishes to join the Boy Scouts should be at the dining hall of St Mary's School Monday at 7:30 p.m., when the scout troop, will be re organized. Roy Aman is scout leader and Howard Goldsby is explorer advisor. Each boy should be accom panied by a parent for this first meeting. A program is outlined for the boys among which the following events are slated: Junior leader- tire system of individual car speakers. The theater's staff of ushers and its projection crew will aid in directing traffic and operating the sound system during the service. Grass Fire Burns Acre in Linn Co. S talesman News Service LEBANON Eastern Linn County had its first official grass fire of the year reported . last week. Fire swept over an acre of ground on the Everett Mc Clum property near Sweet Home. Fire Chief Ivan Hoy of the Sweet Home fire department said the blaze was attributed to a small child playing with matches. Committee heads were chosen this week and six Salem students were picked for committees. Marceline Ling was chosen gen eral chairman, Carolyn Jones will head the farewell dance, Bill Arnold is assisting with the greet ing committee, Dot Swigart heads publicity and Dale Harps is in charge of tours for the vis iting seniors. The schedule will include reg istration in the Library Faculty Lounge; the annual faculty play, which will be "Harvey" this year; and firesides in each of the dorms on Friday evening. Satur day morning an educational as sembly has been scheduled to ac quaint the seniors with the pro gram that OCE has to offer.
