On Monday, wheat 'prices fell the; full 10 cent a bushel limit, for the first time since Feb, 11, 1949. Wednesday they shot upward the 10 cent limit, for the first time since March 4, 1948. . The wheat harvest in the South west, and the acute storage situa tion there and elsewhere in the what-belt, 'set off the sharp down turn Then on Wednesday, the govern ment announced it would grant price support . loans to wheat in the Southwest which has to be Eed on the ground because of of storage facilities.
