Mrs. A. B. Macpherson, Portland, chair man of Region VI, will preside at the sessions. The meetings will be held in the Multnomah hotel. Approximately fifty profession als are expected to be present for an all day meeting preceding this conference on Tebruary 26. Mrs. Vanssa Johnson, Twin Falls, Ida ho, is chairman of this group. She will be assisted by Mrs. VI Thom son, Missoula, Montana, and Miss Dorothy Preusa, Portland execu tive director. The professional staff of Willamette Area Council will attend. They are Miss Enid Wolcott, executive; Mrs. Janice Hlebert, Marion County field di rector; and Mrs. Araen waiiace, Benton County ieia Director. Salem Women Participate ' The regional representative for the Willamette Area council, Mrs. W. K. Gardner of Salem, will at tend this meeting. Others from the Willamette Area Council who will be In attendance and participate In the Portland meeting are the council ' president. Arthur ; Woods, and Mrs. Woods and the former resident. Jl C Lundy . and Mrs. jundy of Dallas; the Salem Dis- trict chairmen, Mrs. Raymond Ol son and Mrs. Frank Kolsky. Corvallis district representatives at this Portland meeting will be Mrs. John M. Swarthout, who is the district chairman, Mrs. -John Smith who Is one of the panel members in the Friday work shop. Mrs. Cal Monroe, Mrs. J. S. Gil- fin, and Mrs. Clinton Stenberg. Mrs. S. M. Zeller of Corvallis Is a member of the executive commit tee of- the four-state region, and is chairman of th nominating com mittee and past chairman of the region. Horizon Girls to Attend Members of Horizon Clubs, the high school division of Camp Fire Girls, have been Invited to attend. Portland Horizon members will assist with housing and hospitality, and with program contributions. A special Horizon session will be held Saturday morning. Other wise, Horizon members will par ticipate as full-fledged adults in the workshop session, as well as the election and -annual business of the region. Six girls from Sa lem represent the three Horizon dubs. They are Joyce Randall, Sandra Carter, Judy Loucks, Ju lie Miller, Gilberta Bates and Gail Blush. The Dallas Horizon Club representatives will be Clydene McWhlrter and Kathleen KeUey. Horizon representatives from Cor vallis will be Nancy Briggs and DeEtte Davis. The Corvallis Hori zon chorus will furnish music on the banouet program In Portland on Friday evening, February 27. Mrs Warren Hunter of Portland, national vice president of Camp Fire Girls, is general chairman of the conference. Mrs. E. Stanley Goodel Is program chairman and Dan Kind, Portland, Is finance chairman. , Th Wahihi'i Wllowmhln of the Knight Memorial Church will hold a luncheon on Tuesday at the church at noon. Soloist for this con cert will be Rudolf Firkusny, in ternationally celebrated Czech pi anist. He will play concertos by Mendelssohn and Howard Hanson. Firkusny played in Salem sev eral years ago on the Salem Com munity Concert series, and Is re membered as displaying outstand ing pianism.
