The rise was one of series since the election of Eisenhower and was based on improved earn ings and dividends currently being reported. ' The Associated Press average of 60 stocks moved up . 70 cents to close at $113.60, a new 1SS2 high and the best since June 5. 1330, when the average stood at S114.70. The industrial component of the average gamed $1, the railroads gained 60 cents, and utilities held unchanged. Volume expanded to 2,120,000 snares. Wheat started the decline at the opening but recovered some of its Josses at the close. The market appeared to be off balance during most of the session. due to lack of confirmed export business, and heavy deliveries on the December contracts. At the finish wheat was un changed to 4 lower, corn was 1 to 1 lower, oats were to lower, rye was 1 Vi to 1 tower, soy bears were 2 to 3 Y lower, and lard was 5 to 15 cents a hundred pounds lower.
