Soybean Price Drops CHICAGO (It Soybeans slumped more than 3 cents a bushel at times Monday on liquidation influenced by trade belief that farmer selling of beans is increasing. Wheat started firm but dipped in late trade. Corn also fell more than a cent a bushel at times. At the close the market was ahead, but it lacked a lot of the sparkle and pep it showed earlier in the day. ; : j The Associated Press average of 60 stocks gained 20 cents at $106.20 with the industrial, railroad and utility components each'up 20 cents as well. : -1 The market broadened out to in clude 1,091 idividual issues as compared with 1,069 issues traded Friday. , i - The division between gains and losses were about the same as Friday with 450- issues advancing and 329 declining with 24 new highs and 19 new lows for the year touched during the session.
