Grain Market Prices Fall CHICAGO UB Light but steady selling sen grains down on the board of trade Wednesday. Wheat started out firm, only to join the rest of the market on the downside within a short time, r eed grains were weak from the start, but in the closing minutes corn rallied from the day's low. Soy beans also recovered part of their lost ground in the final minute. Wheat finished to 1 cent lower, corn unchanged to 1 lower, oats - lower, rye l-2 lower, soy beans to 2 cents lower and lard 10 cents lower to 2 cents a hundred pounds higher. Early buying in wheat was base- on hopes some export business would develop during the day. It didn't., Chile, wluch was scheduled to take 750.000 bushels, pushed its buying back to Thursday while Brazil, ain the market for about 4,800.000 bushels, postponed buying untD. next week. Churchill Calls Cabinet Meeting On Iran Situation LONDON VP) Prime Minister Winston Churchill called cabinet ministers back from vacations Wednesday and spent nearly three hours with them mulling over what to do about the situation in Iran. The only prominent member ab sent was Foreign Secretary An thony Eden, now honeymooning in Portugal. Britain has been under U. S. state department pressure to re lax the attitude blocking Iranian attempts to market the oil from the huge British-owned oil indus try Iran nationalized last year. The Americans reportedly fear that Iran's worsening economic plight is an invitation to Commu nists to take over. Results were not announced af ter the cabinet met. i , Stocks and Bonds i Compiled by The Associated Press Aug. 20 - 30ND AVERAGES 20 19 10 10 Ralls Ind UU1 Frgn.
