Janie Baker will present ballet numbers. Auditions Open For Light Opera Final auditions for the Portland Civic Light Opera Company will continue through June 1. This an nouncement came from the com pany musical director, C. Robert Zimmerman of Portland who said : that the roster for each of the four light operas to be sung this sum mer will number 84 musicians and stage hands. He broke this figure down as follows: 15 principals, 22 chorus men, 18 chorus women, 24 or chestra members and five stage hands. Zimmerman said the audi tions are open to all Interested singers and instrumentalists in Oregon and Southwestern Wash ington. Rehearsals for the com pany's June 25 opening will be started June 2. Arrangements for auditions or for stage-hand inter views, may be made until Satur day through the offices of the Portland Symphonic Choir, spon sor of the company, 512 Park Building, Portland.
