gauge ;s considered low or coarse.
54 gaugf is medium, 60 is fine,

HAM NOODLE LOAF
4 ounces, rr odium noodles

1 tablespoon onion juice
tea aspoi hi alt
Dah pepper
l teaspoon dry mustai l
1 tablespoon blown suai
8 whole cloves, if desired
Cook noodles m boiling salted
water until tender (about 5 min
utes) Dram and rinse. While nood
les are cookine, combine ham, egg.
milk, onion juice, salt, pepper, dry
mustard and brown sugar. Mix
until well blended. Fold in nood
les. Spread into 4l-x8,i inch loaf
pan. Arrange whole cloves on
top of loaf. Bake in moderate oven
(350 degrees) 1 hour. Serve with
mustard sauce or horseradish
sauce. Makes 1 loaf, 4 servings

casserole. Arrange asparagus
spears across top of casserole and

6 cups chilled apricot nectar
3 cups chilled strong black tea
U cup lemon juice
l? cup granulated sugar
Few grains salt
Cloves
Steep a few whole cloves in hot
tea, strain out. Combine all in
gredients and blend well. Serve
verv cold. Makes 21. quarts
FILLED FRUIT
Pitted prunes stujfed with wal
nut halves make a good addition to
a fruit salad plate.
