The Braves jumped out in front 3-0 after two innings, at the expense of starter Loren Monroe, and then betan the rout Peterson slammed a bases-loaded home run. This wallop drove Monroe out and Ludwig Lew finished up for the Senators. He fared little bet ter as the "Braves got to him for three runs in the sixth and an mther in the eighth.
