Atwood Foster, Oregon district superintendent of the Assemblies of God, told Salem Christian Bus inessmen's committee Friday.' Foster said Paul's writing in Corinthians that God had told him, "My grace is sufficient for thee," can be translated from the Greek as "my favor." He pointed out that Paul con sidered he was favored by God des pite the sufferings he underwent in his ministry. But Christianity must be remembered as "the way of the cross" and not as an asy path, he declared. Foster reminded that persecution has revived today against "those who take the name of Christ" in such lands as Russia, parts of South America, China and Korea. flnnn ve Hues FRIENDS Highland Avenue Church : and Highland.
