S ll i Palmer Shows Improvement Statesman News Serrle SILVERTON B. J. Palmer, who has been seriously ill at Sil verton hospital for the past four weeks, was reported considerably Improved Tuesday- Palmer first suffered a heart attack, then a alight stroke. Mrs. E. L. Starr is confined to the Silverton hospital- with a fractured shoulder, sustained when ttf fell from a box. Her shoulder was placed in a cast and she will remain at the hospital for an other week. Jack Reeves, seven-year-old on of the Roscoe Reeves, and Marvin Thompson, son of the Orlo Thompsons, are both re covering from emergency appen dectomies at Silverton hospital. His son, Delmar Barber, has purchased the meat market connected with the store. The Barbers opened their first store here in April of 1927.
