out a piece of yellow crepe paper
across the grain, 17 inches wide
and long enough to go around the
hat box. .Fold the paper in half
lengthwise, and paste the short
ends together. Then gather the
long open ends ad fasten with
spool wire.'You can decorate the
edges as tent flaps with paper
doilies and add a final touch with
the addition of a red circus pen
nant on the top.
Invitations and candy baskets
can be made in a clown theme.
