Mrs. Martin Schlechter was elected president with Mrs. Peter Miller, vice-president; Mrs. Peter Lelack, secretary and Mrs. Chris Reis, treasurer. Installation of the new officers will be held at the fall meeting. Plans were I completed for the chicken dinner! and carnival to be held at the high school gymnas ium Sunday, June 4, with the din ner being served in the .home economics room with Mrs. Fred Manning. MrsL - Clarence Grass- man and Mrs. Ambrose Studer in charge and Mrs. Leonard Fersch- weiler overseeing tne coning room. Mrs. Martin Seifer and Mrs. Otto Beming will be in charge of the coffee urns; Mrs. Magdeline Birn and Mrs. Frank Stravens are the kitchen committee. Other com mittee chairmen named were Mrs. Martin Schlechter, publicity; Mrs. George Kuschnick and Mrs. Jos eph Zellner, shire book sales; Mrs. Ray Kuhn, , paddle wheel; Mrs. Joseph Hennyi fish pond; Mrs. William Allbricht, ice cream and soft drinks; Mrs. Edward Jung wirth, beano; Mrs. Peter Miller, milk bottle game and Mrs. Curtis Reis, penny bofcrd. The club will furnish ice cream and soft drinks for the annual school picnic which will be held at Silverton park Sunday, May 28. Wednesday afternoon a motner- daughter tea ajnd style show was held at the high school by the FHA girls andf the home ec girls modeled their style show.
