Unfavorable weather, both in the southwestern winter wheat belt arid the northwestern spring wheat area lent strength to wheat Dry weather is damaging winter wheat further, while the cold, wet weath er is delaying planting of spring wheat in the northwest. Wheat closed higher to lower, corn was down 2 to 2, oats were 1 to 1 lower, rye was off 1 to 2, soybeans were unchanged to 2 lower, and lard was down 12 to 28 cents a hun dred pounds.
