May Locate In Silverlon Stateuaaa News Servie SILVERTON A called meet ing' of the Silverton chamber of commerce was held Tuesday night to consider plans presented by Claude C. Kilpa trick of Hubbard for locating an industry in Silver ton. While little was said concern ing the proposed industry it was indicated it might be a furniture manufacturing plant. The cham ber agreed to pay traveling ex penses for a factory representative to survey the Silverton area. The chamber membership voted to have 10,000 descriptive folders printed for distribution by the Silverton chamber ' of commerce secretary, Walter Geren. The April breakfast meeting was cancelled, - and another spe cial meeting will be called by President Harold Bartsch when information is obtained concern ing KiUpatrick's proposal Polk, Yamhill Firemen Meet At Willamina IUUuui Newi Stnrlc WILLAMINA The Polk-Yamhill district firemen's meeting was held at the Rebekah hall, with members of the Willamina fire-department and 60 guests in attend ance.
