Earl Swiertzer and DeLane Fry, both students at Oregon State col lege, were guests recently at the home of Frys parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Fry of Scotts Mills. Edgar, son of Mr. and Mrs.-E. Worth Coulson, visited recently at the home of his parents. He is an engineering major at Oregon State college. Mrs. E. A. Doolittle was host ess to two old friends, Mrs. Alice Richman and Mrs. Walter, both of Salem. Mrs. Dora McConnell and daughter. Myrtle Newby, both of Dayton, were guests at the Tony Ettlin home. Mrs. Leila Hinze of Scotts Mills held a platic party at the home of Mrs. V. V. Hickox in Wood burn. Nineteen women attended. X-ray Mobile Unit to Visit At Mt. Angel Statesman News Service MT. ANGEL Plans were completed to give chest X-rays to 80 per cent of Mt Angel's ad ult population in a meeting at the city auditorium Wednesday. The mobile X-ray unit will be in Mt Angel April 18, 19, 20 and 21. Mrs. Cletus Butsch, local chairman, and Mrs. Ruby Bun nell, executive secretary of the Marion County Tuberculosis and Health association, explained the plans for the mobile unit visit The mobile unit will be at Le gion hall at the following times: Tuesday, April 18, from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m.; Wednesday, noon to 8 p. m.; Thursday, noon to 8 p. m., and Friday, 9 a. m. to 5 p. m. Friday the unit will be at Mt Angel academy for the conven ience of nuns and students.
