The union has been bargaining with Jthe Pacific Telephone and Telegraph company sines Novem ber 19. Sixty days still remain to reach a settlement before a nation wide strike deadline. - - C. H. Wright president of the union's Oregon division, said the most serious controversy is on the length of apprenticeship service.
