tet in the nation to enter a major
post-season tournament when it
accepted an invitation to the Na
tional Collegiate Athletic associa
tion tourney in New York.
Winners of 22 straight, the
Crusaders were named to repre
sent district No. 1. The announce
ment was made by Bay Oosting,
Trinity college athletic director
who is chairman of the district
selection committee.
The tournament's eastern play
offs will be held at Madison Square
Garden on March 22 and 25. The
western playoffs- will be held on
the same dates at Kansas City. On
March 28, the eastern and west
ern winners will meet in New York
for the title.
