' I i J ' Pendleton Meii Charged with Holdup iit Bar PENDLETON, Feb. 9 -fcTV Two 0 Pendleton men were charged to day with robbing the Rainbow bar of . $2,400 alter herding the occupants into s rest room at pistol point Douglas Hope Marshall, 22, and Lester Lee Thompson, 29, were arrested less than three hours af ter the midnight robbery of' the . tavern. A passerby, who saw a man -race out .of the bar carrying a cashbox and Jump into a car, tipped off police as to the car's license number. Police went to Thompson's home and made the arrest They recov ered all $2,400. ' Police Chief Charles Lemons said both men signed statements admitting the robbery. Let snnd nnril Wtfct nA fluff Rub butter, flour and salt together until crumbly: Beat eees welL Add milk, scalded and cooled, extracts and yeast mixture. Stir mis into flour mixture until smooth. It will be a VERY SOFT DOUGH. Do not knead Dip dean flour sack in water. Wring dry. Lay it flat on table. Dust with flour. Put dough in center; bring corners of sack up and tie loosely. Leave room for dough to expand. Fill a container with about 3 quarts of lukewarm water. Drop dough in carefully. Set aside to rise. It will float when ready. Lift dough out of water. Turn it into bowL In another bowl, have V cup sugar and 2 T. cinnamon well mixed. Take doueh about uc oi an egg ana press it iiat in sugar mixture, lwist dough once or twice to make a roll, weiner size. Shape into horseshoe and by carefully in well-buttered pan about 1 inch apart This will make 25 rolls. Sprinkle remaining sugar over tops. Set aside in warm place to rise, about 1 hour, or until double in size. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until nicely . browned. These Hungarian Rolls, or Kipfel, should have a crisp, sugary glazed crust when baked. YouH like them! Be sure the flour you use is FISHER'S BLEND.
