Twenty-five candidates, repre senting the six women's living organizations on the campus, were introduced to the members of the local chanter Wednesday evening, followed by elimination to twelve cods. Thtwe asked to the picnic are Del Fisher, Gay Hotsington, Jean Kell, Dona Mears, Sue McElhinny, Grace Connell. Audrey Bliss, Ger ry Gossett, Doris Ewen, Norma Drews, Shirley Griffin and Nancy Marks. Putting poise and personality on an equal basis with appear ance and looks, succeeding func tions will be sport, the women wearing sport clothes, school at tire andformal, with one of the point in voting being for poise In all situations. Classes Set For Leaders Of Cub Scouts A cub leaders' training course for the Cherry City (Salem) dis trict of the Cascade area Boy Scout council will begin Wednes day night at 7:30 pjtL, in the First Methodist church. At the final meeting, which will show a cub graduating ceremony, certificates of completion will be distributed by Higby.
