(; Plans Made For Fall Activities -.The first fall meeting of the Junior Guild of Saint Paul's Epis copal church met Tuesday after noon with a no-hot luncheon in the parish house. The luncheon committee was headed by Mrs. W. C. Gabriel and assisted by Mrs. E. E. Bragg. Mrr. E. E. . Boring. Mrs. R. E. Meredith. Mrs. J. W. Purr. The long tables were cen tered with bowls 'of fall flowers and mange randies. At the birth "rlay table were seated Mrs.. Louise Muller," Mrs. Earl T. Andresen, Mrs. E. E. Boring nd Mrs. W. C. Rev erend Swift gave a report on the Triennial convention of the Epis copal church held in San Fran cisco. Jean Quickenden also at tended and sat in on the Youth convention. Plans were enmpleted for the rummage sale Friday and Satur day in the Parish house with Mrs. R. E- Meredith as chairman. Mrs, John Langrell, chairman of the December bazaar. asked all members to have their articles at the next meeting on -November 8. To Contribute to Iron Lung Fund Members of American Legion auxiliary, 136, voted $25 to the Eagles iron lung fund at the regu lar meeting Tuesday night at the Salem Woman's club. The money will come from the current maga zine subscription drive. Attending the presidents and secretaries conference in Portland Thursday and Friday will be Mrs. Bert A. Walker, president, Mrs. Carroll Robinson, Mrs. Jack E. Simpkins. Mrs. Theodore Ullakko, new membership chairman announced a membership tea is planned in November.
