Later he jlived for several years in Illinois and in 1907 came to Oregon. He lived in jMedford un til 1910 when he came to Albany. Since 1926 he had made his home in. the Tangent community. He followed farming as, an occupa tion. : j I At Louisville, KyJ on May 12. 1902, he imarried Mary DeMent. She died! in 1915. JEFFERSON Memorial ser vices' were held Monday from the Church of Christ for Jean McKee Harvey of Portland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul McKee of Jefferson. Mrs. Harvey died In her sleep early Friday morning. The 'Rev. Edward Terry of Port land! former Methodist pastor herel officiated. Mrs. Gilbert Looney sang, accompanied by PMrsJ Robert Maeartj Pallbearers were Howard Ben ninghoff. George Smith. Joseph E. Harvey, jr. and William Sutterlin . of Portland. Burial was in the McKee family lot In the Jefferson cemetery. Jean Frances McKee was the only child of Paul and Ada Mil ler McKee, and was born near. Jefferson August 29. 1918. Her girlhood was spent in this com munity where she eraduated from high school in 1934. Following graduation, she attended Oregon State college for two years; rnal oring in business administration. She! was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. On January 14, 1931. she was married' to Charles Harvey. Portland attorney; and hadi since -made her home ! there. At the time of her death she was! employed in- the offices of the Portland osteopathic hospital. Surviving are the husband; two! daughters, Elizabeth, 8 years, old,! and Katheryn, 5; and the parents, Mr. and Mrs.,: Paul McKee. ' 1 John Davison i . JEFFERSON John Davison, 76, ! father of Everett Davison, rbute 1, died Sunday at his home near here following ah Illness of two months. Interment will be made in the I OOF cemetery at Lebanon. He was born in Coffeeville, Kan, March 28, 1883 and had lived in Oregon for the past 32 years. He operated a second band tore on. -highway 20 near-Lebanon. . - Surviving are the widow; a son B. D Mobley, Lebanon; two brothers, ! William, White Salmon. Kyriss SWEET HOME Funeral ser vices were held Thursday at 2 pjn. at the Howe-Huston Funeral home here, conducted by the Rev. W. Munger, . pastor of r the Assembly of God church, for William F. Kyriss, 79, who died Sunday night in a Eugene hos pital following a short illness. Interment was in the Canby cemetery. Kyriss was- born July .25. 1870, in Germany but had lived in the United States for the past 65 years. For the past five years be had lived in Sweet Home where he was associated with his three sons in the tire business. Surviving are three sons, Wil liam, Clarence and Fred Kyriss, and a daughter, Anna Kyriss, all of SwQt Home; another daugh ter, Mrs. Ray Bailey, Parkdale, Ore.; two brothers. Franz -and Adolph. living in Creighton. Neb, and a sister, Mrs. Caroline Has kins, Escondado, Calif.
