Linda Moore's Sixth Birthday Linda Moore, daughter of the Gus Moores, celebrated her sixth birthday at a party on Friday night. Bradfords Given Farewell Party FOUR CORNERS Mr. and Mrs. John Bradford of Salem were honored on Tuesday when Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Binegar 160 S. Lancaster drive were hosts at a covered dish dinner as a fare well to the Bradfords who are moving to Portland. Mr. Bradford has held a position at Sally's in Salem for several years. Miss Kathryn B. Raley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Loren Raley, of Walla Walla Wish., on Sunday, July 24, at the Rose City Methodist church, in Portland. The altar was decorated with gadioluses. Gordon Pratt was soloist, and Dr. George Rosenber ry performed the 6:30 o'clock cere- mony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white embroi dered taffeta dress, with marquis ette yoke and short train. A mar quisette coronet held her finger tip veil. She carried a bouquet of white and pink stephanotis cen tered with an orchid. Mrs. Gordon Nelson, was maid of honor, and her gown was aqua taffeta with net overskirt and she carried peach bouvardia. Mrs. L. Elton Raley, bridesmaid wore yel low taffeta with an overskirt of net and carried pale yellow bou vardia. Lawrence E. Garson was best man and ushers were Leonard Od om, L Elton Raley, brother of the bride, Dr. Richard Weiss, Dr. Edward Puhaty, and Dr. Earl Dryden. Mrs. Raley chose for her daugh ter's wedding a Copenhagen blue dress and Mrs. Garson wore a rose dress and both had corsages of talisman roses. The reception was held in the church parlors with Mrs. William Huckba and Mrs. Bryan English pouring and Mrs. Edgar Weaver cutting the cake. Assisting were Mrs. Richard Weiss, Mrs. Kenneth Baldwin, Mrs. Clara Herlikey, Misses Jean Denman, Marjorie Drain, Marylee Herlikey, and Helen Litvin. For her going away outfit the new Mrs. Garson chose a forest green and beige suit with green accessories. After a trip to sou thern Oregon, they will reside in Portland. Outdoor Meal Plan Knights of Pythias and Pythian Sisters and their families and friends will hold a covered dish picnic dinner at the Charles Kin zer home, 1860 North Summer street on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. The Salem Writer's Club held their July meeting on Wednesday.
