Yank Stadium To Hold Scrap r 'Ez' Keeps Promise -As 'Fighting 'Giamp' By Jack Band NEW YORK, July -7P-Ezzard Charles nude good on his pro mise to be a fighting champion today by agreeing to defend his newly-won NBA' heavyweight title gainst Gus Lesnevich, former world light heavyweight king. In a 15-rounder at Yankee stadium Wednesday, Aug. 10. Not heavyweight champ in box ing history ever risked his crown so soon after winning it.
