HUBBARD The Firemen's auxiliary held a special meeting in the Fire hall Friday evening. They washed Windows, hung cur tains, ahd discussed plans for a Firemen's dinner. Announcement was made of meeting5 of the Firemen's associa tion to be held, at Settlemeir Park in Woodburn in July. All fire men and their families are invit ed for a 7:30 p.m. no-host supp,er and evening of f.un. The Hubbard Farmers beat the Hubbard merchants in a softball game Under the lights at Haw thorne Field Friday night. Mrs. George Huff and son Jack accompanied the Win. Safety Council Sponsors Picnic at Sweet Home SWEET HOME T The Sweet Home Community Safety council held Hi scheduled picnic in the city park, Sunday. Stewart Weiss, chairman of the council gave a short review of the accomplishments of the council to date and made some suggestions to improve the efficiency of the council; Following his address.
