Leaving Four Corners to go to Grand View, Wash, are Mr. and Mrs. William Hesketh who have sold their residence at 4219 Dur bin ave. to Wasson H. McClain of Salem. The benefit carnival sponsored by the Four Comers Community Center association has moved the dates to July 15-16-17. Two trucks answered the call and put out the blaze in atxiiit an hour. Four Corners Cub Scouts Set Picnic FOUR CORNERS On Sunday June 2 den 3 of the Four Cor ners cub scouts will join the scouts of Pack 101 for an all. day picnic and pack meeting at Silver Creek Falls. Dinner will be served at 1 o'clock, badges will be awarded immediately following and the af ternoon will be spent in recreation al activities. Stayton Methodists Set Annual Picnic in July STAYTON The Schultz farm, one mile northwest of Aumsville on Highway 222, will be the scene of the annual picnic of the Sunday school and Methodist church, Sun day, July 26. Svim Classes To Start at Woodburn Pool GERVAIS Carl Jorpensen, who wih be in charge of the free swimming classes for the Wood burn pool at Settlemeier Park when it opens for its summer sea son, Saturday, June k5 at 1 p.m. has worked out the following schedules: Classes will begin July 6 and end the 16th: July 19 to 30: Aug ust 2 to 8: and August j to 19 and will include lessors to beginners, adults and lifesaving courses. The hours will be from 11:15 a.m. to 12 noon for beginning in termediates: two classes for be ginners, one starting at 1 pjn. to 1:45 p.m. and the other from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The hours from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. will be for swim ming. Advanced intermediate will have class from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and swimming from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. To child under 6 years of age will be eiven lessons and children under 12 years of ace will not be allowed to swim in the pool during the evening swimming period un less accompanied by a parent The pool will be open from June 25 until classes start July 6. the hours of 1 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8:45.
