DeWitt, former Orchard Heights resident who suffered a stroke recently, has recovered sufficiently enough to leave bed. Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt now are making their home in West Salem. Orchard Heights Frank Wilson has received word of the death of bis twin brother, Fred, in Casey, Iowa. Wilson will be 81 on May 30. " Valley Obituaries Clara Mao March Sweet Home Funeral serv ices were held at the Howe-Huston funeral home Sunday for Claia Mae March, 78, who died at her home here Friday morning follow ing a short illness. Interment wa In the IOOF cemetery in Lebanon. Clara Mae Proctor, daughter of Joseph and Adeline Proctor, was born Oct. 2, 1870 at Knowlton. Wis. On March 27, 1887 she was married to Herbert F. March at Sherman, Wis. Coming to Oregon In 1900, the couple lived in various communities while Mr. March as engaged in the lumber business. The couple came to Sweet. Home five years ago where they have since resided. On March 20, they observed their 62nd wedding anni versary at the home of their daugh ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Houck. She is survived by her husband. Herbert F. March; one daughter, Mrs. Leda A. Houck, Sweet Home, and one son Chester H. March, Portland.
