Betrothal Is Told Revealed at the Chi Omega sorority bouse on the Willamette university campus Tuesday night wu the engagement of Miss Doro thy Ann Hobson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Hobson of Molalla, to Fred Graham, son of Mr. and Mrs. f O. Graham of Longvlew, Wash. No wedding date Has been set. The bride-elect's sorority sis ten learned the news when telegram was delivered and the traditional box of chocolates was passed. Miss Hobson Is a Junior on the Willamette campus and her fianoe la a graduate student His frater nlty Is Sigma Chi. Program Given For Rebekahs Following the business session at wwen Mrs. Lloyd Pepper pre sided, Mrs. W. L. Newton, Good f the Order chairman, was in Charge of the program for Salem Bebekah Lodge Monday night at tne IOOF temple. Assisting Mrs Newton were Mrs. Blanche Hull with readings, Mrs. Reginald Gar rett who sang, Mrs. J. I. Teed t the piano, and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Gies presented slides of their trip to Mexleo. Activities announced were: Past Noble Grands to meet Wednesday at p.m. at the home of Mrs. Roy Farc, 275 South 15th. Salem FJ. club will honor state presi dent, Mary Boyle, Thursday at p.m. at the IOOF temple. The Three Links club will begin their meeting at 12:30 p.m. with a cov ered dish luncheon, Friday at the IOOF temple. Willamette En eampment No. 2 invites families and friends to their social evening Friday at the IOOF temple. There will be a covered dish dinner at f;30 p.m. followed by a short bust m session, dancing and cards. Next Monday will be social eve sing and the past Noble grands wfll be in charge of the program. Girl Scout Adult Leaders to Train Girl Scout Day camp dates at Crestwood Acres have been set for the month of June. There is room for U0 Girl Scouts. The need for adult leaders and assistants was expressed by execu Uvea of the organization on Wed nesday. A training class for lead ers will be held in the Fireplace room of the First Methodist church at 7:30 tonight, first of a series. A weekend at Smith Creek camp when the leaders will experienee actual eamp conditions is being planned. Interested women should oontact Mrs. H. H. Barlow or Mrs. Irving Manbeck for information or reser vations in the classes. Read Miss Xmma Isaak, daughter of Mrs. Katherina f Isaak of Salem, and Louis Perkins were united la marriage March 24, at 8 p. m. at the home of the bride's brother, Edward Isaak. The Rev. Norman Brown, assistant pastor of Cal vary Baptist church, performed the double ring oeremony. Miss Lois Perkins sang, accompanied by Miss Patricia, Perkins. The bride wore a spring suit of light gray with? navy accessories and a corsage of talisman roses and gardenias. She was given in marriage by her, brother, Edward Isaak. Miss Clara Isaac, sister of the bride, in a two-tone spring suit and a corsage of talisman roses was maid of honor. Marvin Per kins, brother of the groom, was best man. The mother of the bride was in black wit ft white accessories and wore a corsage of white gar denias. Immediately following the cere mony a reception was held for the family and a few friends. After a short . honeymoon the newlyweds will be at home in Sa lem at 993 Madison street.
