Realtors Move Meeting Place Salem Board of Realtors will bear a talk on the city's Hospital Development profr-'m Friday when the local realtors gather for luncheon at a new meeting place, the Cherry room in the basement of Hotel Senator. Speaker- this Friday noon will be E. T; Franklin, director of the $1,100,000 campaign for hospital development here. The board has just changed its meeting place for regular Friday luncheons from the Marion hotel to the Senator. Moving of cherry pitting and brining equipment from the Front and Norway streets plant has already begun, in order to be prepared for this years crop. The company has used one building at the Tile road site for several years In freez ing of various fruits and vege tables. Already under way is construction-of a new of fice building and a storage struc ture. The Keith Brown entrance will now be from Madison street rather than Tile road. Brown said the firm would pursue the pro motion of smaller items of mer chandise. Ice Frolics Friday Night More than 80 Salem ice skaters will present the Ice Frolics of 1949, opening Friday night at the Salem Ice arena. Skaters as young as two years old will appear in the amateur talent show for which nightly performances are scheduled April 1 through April 5. Seven of the production num bers will feature a skating chorus line of 10 senior girl skaters. One of their numbers- will be the first "black light number presented! on ice in Salem. The show is directed again this year by Dean LaPolnt of tha lea arena staff.
